About Tyler Aman, NP
Tyler Aman is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Serenity Mental Health Centers. Tyler joined Serenity in June of 2022. She offers her patients nearly a decade of psychiatric experience and an individualized approach to patient care.
Tyler began her career as a middle school science teacher before transitioning into nursing, a change which she considers to be one of the most amazing parts of her life’s journey. For the last decade she has worked in psychiatry as both a nurse and a practitioner.
Tyler’s patient care philosophy centers on her belief that it is her job to treat the whole person, individualize care, and facilitate her patient’s goals for mental wellness.
As a teen in the 80’s, Tyler witnessed how difficult it was for those in need of mental health assistance to find the help they needed. Those first-hand struggles have led her to being a passionate and present provider for everyone she treats, and she has dedicated her life to being the help that was missing for so many that she has known and loved. At Serenity, Tyler offers ketamine therapy, TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), and medication management to treat her patients.
Outside of work, Tyler loves to spend time with her amazing family. She is a single mother to two children, one who has made her a proud theater mom and another who has made her the “LaLa” of a baby granddaughter.
Tyler has a strong belief that mental wellness affects everything about our health, who we are, and how we feel. She views her role as part of that journey with her patients to be a privilege. She is excited to meet new patients at Serenity as she strives to be part of the solution in creating overall wellness for each person she treats.

It was an exhaustive search to find a facility to diagnose my ADHD at 47 years old. When I told her my story Tyler was warm, and kind. I felt heard. I felt safe. Meeting her and revealing my struggles has been the change I have sought my entire life and I CANNOT be more grateful that she took me on as a patient. I highly recommend her for her humane and down to earth treatment.

I just started seeing Paulene (NP) and wish I had found her sooner! Before Paulene, I spent two years trying to get to the bottom of what was going on with me (with a different provider) and tried numerous medications with hardly any results, but after just one visit with Paulene I felt validated and heard for the first time. She took the time to really listen to what I had to say and we came up with a treatment plan that has already produced a positive difference in my life. I am so grateful to have met her and absolutely recommend her! Oh and all of the employees are so kind and patient - definitely recommend this center!
Tyler is so kind and personable. She has been such a huge help and in comparison to the other places ive been the staff here is wonderful and so kind. I really feel at home whenever I come to my appointments. Tyler listens and gives you the tools and options to get better and really cares. I love serenity mental health!
Best place I’ve ever gone to. Out of everyone I’ve been to this is by far the best place. The kindest staff members, the second you walk in you feel safe and welcomed. The smell is also weirdly comforting? I love this place so much and my psychiatrist is the best. I’ve only gotten better ever since I came here. I see Tyler and she is by far the best psychiatrist, she’s so understanding and just has a very welcoming aura. 👍👍👍
